Emotional Freedom Technique is based upon the idea that "the cause of all negative emotions in a disruption in the body's energy system".
Once that disruption is cleared then so are the related emotional or physical symptoms. With EFT this is a simple process and involves quite simply tapping on a sequence of key meridian points whilst tuned in to the problem at hand. The practitioner will get you to tune in to the problem you want to address, then tap the 11 acupressure points along with a series of affirmations, it takes just 30 seconds to five minutes to complete the basic technique to address an issue, this may need to be repeated a few times. Whether that problem is anger, anxiety or a stiff shoulder the basic procedure is always the same.
EFT is convenient, once you have mastered the technique you can use it anywhere, anytime to enjoy the relaxing and re-vitalsing benefits. It is common for people to experience rapid relief from pain in less than half an hour and emotional problems such as anxiety are often fully relieved in just one session.
