| One of the world's leading international equine charities Our mission is to protect horses from abuse and alleviate their suffering through rehabilitating, campaigning and educating worldwide. Our political campaigners, international training teams, UK Field Officers and Rehabilitation Centres are all working towards our vision of a world where the horse is used but never abused. We are a caring but pragmatic organisation, which encourages the use, not the abuse of the horse, recognising that the only hope for the future of this unique animal in the western world is in the pleasure it can give in both sport and leisure. The ILPH has grown to become the world's leading international equine welfare charity. The ILPH relies totally on the support of the general public to continue its work. In the United Kingdom the ILPH runs 4 Recovery and Rehabilitation Centres, with around 300 horses in our care at any one time. Address: Anne Colvin House , Snetterton, , Norfolk, NR16 2LR |

| You can help save thousands of badgers Despite over 42,000 replies to the government's consultation on the culling of badgers in 2006 - with over 96% being against the killing of badgers - our government is still considering killing badgers. There is a very real danger that snaring and gassing will be allowed to kill badgers - we need to fight this 'Silent Killer in the Countryside'. We hope you will help us protect the countryside and sign our petition. Address: |
