Medical Homeopathy (or Modern Homeopathy) evolved from the need to link Classic Homeopathy with the latest discoveries in Medical Sciences.
The new concept in Modern Homeopathy allows doctors and practitioners to treat medical conditions that were unknown at the time of Hahnemann (we can’t treat an AIDS sufferer using therapeutic techniques from 300 years ago…).
Homotoxicology is an integral part of Modern Homeopathy which treats medical conditions by deep detoxification of organs with specific on-prescription complex remedies containing homeopathic and sometimes pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical ingredients.
What is Homotoxicology?
The study - ology
Of toxins - toxic
In man – homo
Philosophy of Homotoxicology:
Therapeutic approach in Homotoxicology combines the elements of conventional medicine, homeopathy and nutrition and therefore can be used to address any problem. It can work hand in hand with other therapies including conventional medicine, and many of the remedies in Homotoxicology are similarly supported by clinical trials. Whatever you would see your doctor for, there is always safe and effective complementary or alternative approach with Homotoxicology.
One of the advanced therapeutic techniques in Homotoxicology is called Homeomesotherapy which means treatment with series of shallow microinjections of homeopathic medicines into acupuncture points on the skin. In such case the combination of Homeopathy with Chinese Medicine technique produces synergistic effect giving the body a chance to rebalance, and symptoms of illness or disease start to reverse.
Homeomesotherapy is used in Beauty Treatment (alternative to Botox safe and natural way for face lift and wrinkles reduction as well as for cellulite and localised fat reduction). It is also used for pain management in sciatica, lumbago, neck, joints pain, sports injuries, also for organ detoxification and treatment of such conditions as chronic venous Insufficiency (swollen ankles), cystitis, prostatitis, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, low sex drive (libido) etc.
The other advanced technique is called Auto-Sanguis therapy involving injections of homeopathic medicines mixed with patient’s blood into acupuncture points on the skin.
Some medicines used in Homotoxicology for treatments contain naturally found in the body molecules such as hormones, cytokines, proteins and glycosaminoglycans. Concentration of these molecules in homeopathic medicines corresponds to their physiological concentration in the body, which aims to stimulate self-healing process without any side effects.
The medicines used for beauty treatment may contain collagen and hyaluronic acid, while medicines used for pain management may contain endorphin and anti-inflammatory cytokines.
How to obtain qualification in Homotoxicology?
As Homotoxicology is the registered discipline of the Institute of Complementary and Natural Medicine, the only educational organisation which certificates are recognised by ICNM is Biomedic Foundation in London (http://www.biomedic.co.uk/). The other option which does not provide recognition by ICNM is online FREE course for doctors and practitioners arranged by International Academy of Homotoxicology: http://www.iah-online.com/
Biomedic Foundation also runs specialised courses in Homeomesotherapy for beauticians and complementary practitioners (no medical background is required) with an indemnity cover obtainable from Balens Insurance Brokers.
Where to find a registered homotoxicologist?
Most qualified homotoxicologists are listed within ICNM website, but not all of them are qualified to give homeopathic injections. Nottingham based homotoxicologist Alla Cranham is one of the few homotoxicologists who is fully qualified and insured to do so.
Alla Cranham studied pharmaceutical chemistry in her native Russia before completing MSc degree in biomolecular sciences from Nottingham University. She received further education in the Academy of Homotoxicology and Bioregulatory Medicine and then was trained in Homeomesotherapy in London and Milan. Alla is a Fellow of Royal Society for Public Health and a lecturer at Biomedic Foundation in London.
