Duration: 1 day, 10.00am – 5.30pm. Practical elements are covered over 1 days attendance at our centre. Theory elements are covered by homestudy.
Description: Ear Candling or Thermal Auricular Therapy has been used in Britain for over 15 years in the treatment of common ear, nose and throat conditions. Hopi ear candling, as it is also known, originates from the Hopi Indians of North America. However, it has much more practical applications in today’s world, from balance problems, excessive wax, ringing in ear, migraines, headaches, sinusitis and ear, nose and throat infections.
This 1 day Practitioner Course leads to practitioner status, focusing on providing safe, effective and consistent Ear Candling treatments.

*Legal aspects, Code of Conduct & Ethics
*Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
*Health, Safety and Hygiene

*Common issues related to the ear
*Use of an Otoscope
*Basic Facial Massage Techniques
Units within this qualification have been mapped to the relevant National Occupational Standards (NOS).
On successful completion of our Ear Candling Level 1 Training and completion of practical/written work including case studies (carry out and document evidence for at least twenty treatments on a minimum of four clients) our graduates will be awarded The Full Spectrum Centre™ Ear Candling Level 1 (Practitioner) Certificate and will be eligible to obtain insurance to practice professionally.

Optional Upgrade to VTCT Level 2 Award in Thermal Auricular Therapy (QCF): £95
A 35% deposit and all appropriate VTCT fees must be received to secure a place on all of our courses and workshops. The balance is required in full, 31 days prior to the first day of the course or workshop.
