Research has shown that we all carry as many as 300 industrial chemicals in the body, household cleaners are perhaps one of the main causes of this frightening statistic.   Many household cleaners carry a stern warning on the label – they are poisons and have to be used with caution.  

Strong chemicals pose a risk in the home for children and animals if accidentally ingested, but simply by inhaling the vapours, we put our bodies under strain and risk damaging the organs, eyes, respiratory system and nervous system.  Even after rinsing, chemicals remain on furniture, clothes, bedding and dishes.  In 1989 a study determined that to chemicals in common household cleaners were three times more likely to cause cancer than other air pollutants.
