Research and discussion on TETRA communications (aka Airwave) |
TETRA communications as imitially adopted by the police forces of the UK, has given rise to many concerns, not least the risk to health of users and people living in proximity to masts. The TETRAWatch website represents discussion and research on behalf of all those concerned, as to what the risks really are, and campaigns to have these concerns addressed. The links area of the website has a strong health section, and relates equally to all mobile and digital wireless communications.

The Alliance for Natural Health (ANH) is a UK-based, pan-European and international not-for-profit campaign organisation working to protect and promote natural health care through the use of 'good science and good law'. |
Three of the greatest threats to natural health care include EU and international regulatory challenges, misrepresentation of the science on natural products through the media and a general lack of acceptance of the use of natural products for health care in large sectors of the orthodox medical community.

We are the primary national organisation opposing the insensitive siting of mobile phone and Tetra masts in the UK |
Mast Sanity was set up in January 2002 and has helped thousands of campaigns since then. The organisation was founded by Lisa Oldham, and other long term mast campaigners, who saw that the mobile phone operators were gaining substantial power and rolling out a network at alarming speed that had serious and widespread health and environmental implications, and their was little help available to communities fighting both the multinationals and the chaotic planning system. Mast Sanity's primary concern is that the present system of mobile phone and TETRA technology is unsafe. The system is biologically and environmentally incompatible with the health and well being of the public. Mast Sanity wants a safe system of operation. Mast Sanity believes the health implications to be on the scale of smoking and asbestos and a health disaster is looming.

JABS wants comprehensive information for all parents to make an informed decision on the benefits and risks of vaccination |
JABS as a self-help group neither recommends nor advises against vaccinations but we aim to promote understanding about immunisations and offer basic support to any parent whose child has a health problem after vaccination. JABS feels that the current method of reporting adverse reactions is totally ineffective. The system needs to be radically changed to ensure all reactions are reported

We are the British arm of a international organisation seeking to change the current relationship between the health professions and the pharmaceutical industry |
This relationship is based on hospitality and patronage which is unknown and undeclared to the general public. Without action we will continue with the relentless medicalisation of society and further erode our collective sense of well being.
We ask doctors, nurses and other health professionals to take "the pledge" and distance themselves from the pharmaceutical industry . In the UK we are campaigning for complete transparency through a public register of all contact, hospitality and payments received by health professionals from the industry. Most in the profession support a register.

Did you know that the average woman uses 12 toiletries every day and applies more than 175 chemical compounds to her body in the process? |
Chemical Safe Skincare.co.uk has been set up by a group of concerned consumers and conscientious manufactures to provide consumers with more information about the ingredients in skincare. We feel that this message is being ignored and that the issues and debate surrounding the safety of products is being brushed under the carpet. We need consumers to join our campaign to highlight the issue of chemicals in cosmetics and skincare. Its time this subject was discussed more openly amongst consumers and manufacturers

Powerwatch is a non-profit independent organisation with a central role in the UK Electromagnetic Field and Microwave Radiation health debate |
Powerwatch has been researching the links between electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and health risks for about 17 years, and is completely independent of government and industry. We gather information from around the world about EMFs, in order to help the lay person understand this complex issue. We have designed a number of instruments so that the general public can find out what they are exposed to, and have written numerous publications on the latest research, what is understood and what is not known, and what you can do to minimise any high fields you may be regularly exposed to
