SouLinks has recently past the date of its first year online and now has a membership approaching 3,500 in 12 countries.

It has been a very eventful year with various important changes to the way the site works, its features and how full membership is subscribed to. The more recent feature of ‘Connections’ has been very helpful to enable one to see who is showing an interest in you. Ongoing changes will continue to be made and announced in Site news as appropriate and we aim to continue to keep the cost for full membership low to encourage take up.

There are a significant number of members who have signed up but still not loaded a main photo. If you are one of them this means that, even if you can see everybody else, you are still invisible to the whole community and so are unable to draw the attention of people who might want to get in touch. If you need help getting a suitable photo into the right format or condition to upload then please send them to support@soulinks.org and we will be delighted to give assistance.

With regard to the Forums we would love to hear any ideas of how to get much more discussion going – it seems to run in phases of quiet and activity. Don’t forget that all members, where complimentary or full, can take part in the forums and there is a wide range of topic areas across the holistic spectrum.

Equally if you know of a good website that is within the general remit of Soulinks then let us know and we can invite them to post a banner as part of our links to external sites. Part of our role is to enable the networking of ideas and help individuals find pathways to satisfy a growing awareness.

We have heard some most delightful success stories of people who have found someone that has become very significant in their life. SouLinks’ remit is broad and each personal journey is unique but we and other members are always so pleased to hear of ‘success stories’. We encourage members to write to us so we can post something in the Forums for others to gain inspiration and share in a small way in the success.

We also encourage you to tell your friends and those in your local networks about SouLinks for indeed networking and connections at many levels and for many purposes is what this site is all about. Some promotional materials are on the Resources button near the bottom of the login page.
