We are looking for New Tutors - Can you help? Please forward this to anyone who may be interested

Here at Gateway Workshops we are looking for new tutors, do you or do you know someone who are based in the following areas who would be interested in teaching with Gateway?

We are looking for tutors in the following locations:

• Bristol or Norwich
• Glasgow or Edinburgh
• Cornwall or Plymouth
• Ireland
• Poole or Bournemouth

We are looking for tutors to teach 3 of our popular courses to begin with - Indian head massage, Natural Lift Facial Massage and Traditional Thai Foot Massage. We may then look for you to offer Seated Massage, Hot Stone Massage & Hopi Ear Candling.

WE OFFER IN-HOUSE TRAINING FOR THESE COURSES.

It does not matter which venue the students choose to attend as all tutors teach the same courses and offer the same content. All courses you attend with Gateway, each student will receive the same full manual, which covers the course material and all aspects they have learnt on the day.

All Courses are recognised & registered with the following Professional Bodies: The CMA (Complementary Medical Association), FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists), The GPBT(The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists) & we are going through accreditation with Embody also.

What we are looking for:

1/ Therapists with at least 2 years hands on therapy experience, A & P and a Massage Certificate (ITEC or VTCT are accepted) previous teaching experience is preferable - and if you have a teachers training certificate this is ideal but not essential as we have an in-house teacher trainer.

2/ You have to be good with people, caring, professional and with a passion to teach. We look for friendly, approachable people with a good knowledge of complementary therapies. References on request.

3/ We are looking for people to teach in various areas of the UK - we are very busy in London and outer London venue's and we are looking to expand.

4/ If you already work at a centre and they have a room you can run courses which holds 3 - 4 couches comfortably that is great. However you do not have to already have a venue to work from this we may be able help you with.

5/ We are looking for tutors who would like to run our one day certified Indian head massage, Natural Lift Facial Massage and Thai foot massage courses as these are in demand and we do not currently have someone for the areas mentioned. We need tutors to be available at least 2 weekends out of each month and some week days to give the students choices for dates on offer.

6/ We are ALSO looking for tutors who are currently running courses that Gateway do not offer as we would love to consider any new courses and look forward to hearing from you and the possibilities for joining our team.

We cannot guarantee work, however are courses are very popular so if you are looking for work that will supplement you as a therapist if your private client base is not busy enough to take up all of your time and you have a flare with people and would love to teach get in touch we would love to hear from you.

Let me know why you wish to become a tutor or if you are already a tutor what you currently teach. Please let us know what area you are based and a little about yourself. Please include your contact details and if we feel you would be suitable to consider we will contact you by phone for a chat.

If we wish to take it to the next level we will ask you to train in the courses we wish you to offer as a therapist first, this will be Indian head massage, Thai foot massage and our Natural Lift Facial Massage course. We ask you to attend our training as no matter what tutor or what venue the students go to with our training - the course material used, manuals etc will all be the same (our copyright material) This way you will train in 3 new therapies (which you are able to offer your clients) and see how we run our courses. You will attend these in London with our in - house teacher trainer as a student and if she feels you meet our requirements and would be ideal as a tutor you will be offered a further teacher training day with our in - house trainer to organise the training required to offer our courses. Once this is successfully completed and all parties are happy we can then promote you on our web site for these 3 courses.
