Changes to manuka honey dressings in UK

There have been some changes to the manuka honey dressings sold in the UK market recently.

These specialist wound dressings come ready to use, with medical grade, sterilised, manuka honey impregnated in an alginate fibre dressing.

Previously available in a pack of 3 dressings directly under the Comvita name, they have now been repackaged and renamed. You will now find them as Medihoney Apinate Dressings, and in a pack of 5 individual dressings. This is part of worldwide changes made by Comvita to align most of their specialist medical type products under their Medihoney brand.

An exception for the UK is that the very popular Manukacare 18+ - the tubes of sterilised manuka honey for external use - will remain under the Comvita Manukacarename for the time being to maintain familiarity for users. The Apinate dressings are still the same 10cm x 10cm size that can be trimmed into smaller pieces to suit your needs. Just a different packet, and more in a box.

At the moment we're only able to offer the boxes of dressings, ie. a box of 5. However we are aware that this is a bit of an increase from the previous 3 pack if you first want to just try them, and are open to feedback as to how this may affect people.
