Sometimes people ask me to give an update on what we are doing in Ghana.
Well....we have been doing a lot of good work and achieving fantastic results (just thought I would cheer you up). We now have three centres open - in Accra, Kumasi and Mafi-Seva in the Volta region.
We have just had two Indian homeopaths there for nearly one month, teaching, supervising clinics, seeing patients under a tree in small villages, meeting with government officials etc, etc. It was a very productive month with our coordinator Linda Shannon there as well.
As usual, our plea for funds to pay for the Indians' flights were generously supported by so many people - a heartfelt thank you from the UK team. Our new long term volunteer is Richard Pitt who is staying possibly for one year. Richard (Director of the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy - San Francisco) seems to have settled quickly and is already making good progress with our plans to start a training programme for Ghanaians.
Please take a look at Richard's page on Justgiving and enjoy his fabulous photos and reports. http://www.justgiving.com/ and look for Richard Pitt's page - easy.
It will not cost you a penny, and everytime you buy something online, the retailer will donate to the project. There are many dozens of retailers donating to charity - it is such a good idea, so please do it now, it will only take a minute, and you will be supporting homeopathy in Ghana.
Thank you. Blessings, Grace DaSilva-Hill
