Organic wines use traditional methods without the use of modern chemicals - pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilisers, flavour enhancers and other synthetic chemicals.  The processing method does require some essential natural preservatives. Organic wine producers keep this to a minimum.

The superior quality of organic wines is in part due to the gentle methods of juice extraction; these ensure that maximum flavour and aroma is retained. Organic wines have won numerous awards; perhaps the fact that the grape is grown in harmony with its environment plays a part in this!
